Tenured/Tenure-track Position in Africana Studies

The University of Pennsylvania's Department of Africana Studies invites applications for a historian of sub-Saharan Africa at the rank of Assistant, Associate, or Full Professor. The successful candidate will contribute to the interdisciplinary study of Global Black Studies and will be expected to engage in teaching, mentoring, and research. A PhD is required by July 1, 2027, and candidates should demonstrate a commitment to supporting a diverse student body.
