Postdoctoral Scholar

The Postdoctoral Scholar will be responsible for executing research activities in statistical and computational methods for processing, segmentation, and trait extraction from 3D CT images of plant roots. This role requires expertise in plant physiology, CT imaging, and deep learning/AI. The scholar will design experiments, interpret data, and contribute to research dissemination through manuscripts and presentations. The position emphasizes collaboration, mentorship, and engagement with scientific literature, with opportunities for training early career scientists and participating in grant writing. The position is fixed-term, ending on or before May 31, 2027, with potential for renewal based on funding and performance.
