Postdoctoral Scholar: Curiosity & Character Development

The META Lab at UC Santa Barbara is looking for a Postdoctoral Scholar to help lead a three-year initiative funded by the Educating Character Initiative. The project aims to cultivate curiosity as an intellectual virtue in higher education, integrating an evidence-based program into classrooms and campus culture. Responsibilities include coordinating with faculty, developing pedagogical materials, leading assessment design, and presenting findings. Candidates must have completed all requirements for a PhD in psychology, education, cognitive science, or a related field, with a preference for those with quantitative training and intervention research experience.
