The development of quantum technologies opens new perspectives for simulating complex physical systems. LOMA and LaBRI collaborate within Bordeaux's Maison du Quantique to propose a joint PhD thesis aimed at developing fault-tolerant quantum computing algorithms. The candidate will work on implementing and optimizing algorithms tailored for simulating complex physical systems, within an interdisciplinary environment combining theoretical physics and quantum computing. A Master's degree in theoretical physics, chemical physics, or quantum computing is required, with an interest in numerical methods and simulation. Expected start in November 2026.
