Research Fellow in Soil Microbial Drought Memory Mechanisms

The research fellow will investigate how previous drought exposure shapes soil microbial responses to subsequent water stress. Activities include laboratory and field experiments, biogeochemical measurements, isotopic tracer analyses, and microbial community/network dynamics studies. The fellow will integrate isotopic, functional, and omics/ecological data to identify predictive indicators of microbial resilience to drought.
