This PhD project aims to investigate the function and regulation of genes with high expression levels during the embryonic development of C. elegans. The candidate will utilize genetics methods, including genome editing and RNA interference, to characterize gene expression patterns and identify regulatory pathways involved in cell identity acquisition. The project is based on recent bioinformatics analysis of scRNAseq datasets, which revealed significant insights into cellular identities.
