Doctoral Candidate in the Biophysics of the Cytoskeleton

The Institut Jacques Monod is looking for a doctoral candidate to explore the biophysics of the cytoskeleton, particularly the dynamics of actin and vimentin filaments. This experimental project will involve in vitro reconstitution experiments and aims to develop a model for mechanical stress recognition in cells. The candidate will work with purified proteins and quantify the mechanical responses of filaments.
