Postdoctoral Fellow (BioDesign Group - Joint Genome Institute)

The Joint Genome Institute (JGI) at Berkeley Lab is seeking a Postdoctoral Fellow to work on developing a high-throughput platform for discovering and screening transporters of critical minerals and materials (CMMs). This role involves collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to design and validate a sequencing-based platform, perform gene mining, and analyze data to advance transporter discovery for CMM recovery. Candidates should have a recent Ph.D. in Molecular Biology or related fields and experience in bacterial genetics and bioinformatics.
