Postdoctoral Scholar in Cryo-Electron Microscopy

The Goulding Lab at UC Irvine is looking for a postdoctoral scholar specializing in cryo-electron microscopy to study the molecular mechanisms of bacterial competition. The position involves preparing and optimizing cryo-EM grids, collecting high-resolution datasets, and building atomic models. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in structural biology or a related field and experience with cryo-EM techniques. The initial appointment is for two years with a negotiable start date in January 2027.
