The Sirsi Laboratory in the Department of Bioengineering at the University of Texas at Dallas is seeking a highly motivated Postdoctoral Associate to join an interdisciplinary research team focused on ultrasound-mediated drug delivery and acoustic biosensing. The primary focus of this role is to develop and characterize oxygen-sensitive microbubbles for molecular ultrasound imaging and localized therapeutic delivery. The successful candidate will work at the interface of microbubble formulation chemistry, acoustics, and biomedical engineering, advancing hemoglobin-based microbubble platforms from in vitro proof-of-concept toward in vivo validation. Candidates must have a Ph.D. in a related field and demonstrated expertise in ultrasound contrast agent formulation, along with hands-on experience in microbubble characterization and drug delivery techniques.
