The Division of Microstructure Physics at Chalmers University of Technology invites applications for a two-year postdoctoral position focused on advancing the understanding of bone mineral chemistry. The successful candidate will develop and optimize a correlative workflow using time-of-flight secondary ion mass spectrometry (ToF-SIMS) and atom probe tomography (APT) to resolve nanoscale chemical composition within bone tissue. The role involves conducting experiments at the Chalmers Materials Analysis Laboratory, analyzing multiscale chemical datasets, and disseminating findings through publications and conferences. Collaboration with interdisciplinary teams across departments is central to the position, which also offers opportunities for teaching and supervision at undergraduate and master's levels.
