PhD Position in Synthetic Organic Chemistry/Homogeneous Catalysis

The Tortosa group at Universidad Autónoma de Madrid invites applications for a PhD position in the field of homogenous catalysis. The candidate will develop novel asymmetric transition metal catalyzed transformations using organoboron compounds and CO2 to create enantioenriched building blocks sustainably. Applicants should have a completed or nearly completed MSc in Chemistry, with a background in Organic and/or Organometallic chemistry, and experience in organic compound analysis and synthetic molecular chemistry. Proficiency in English is required.
