Assistant Professor of Medieval History

The University of Texas at Austin is seeking a tenure-track Assistant Professor of Medieval History to begin in Fall 2027. The successful candidate will teach medieval Europe, focusing on premodern global interconnections, including the Silk Road and diasporic medieval populations. Applicants must have completed their Ph.D. by the time of appointment or expect to do so within a year. Teaching experience in relevant areas is required. Applications are due by November 13, 2026.
