Assistant Professor - African and/or Caribbean Francophone Literature

The Department of French at the University of Toronto invites applications for a full-time tenure stream position in African and/or Caribbean Francophone Literature. The successful candidate will engage in innovative research and teach graduate students, contributing to the department's strengths. A PhD in a relevant field is required, along with a strong record of research and teaching excellence. Native or near-native fluency in French and a strong command of English are expected. The position starts on July 1, 2027, with a salary range of $120,000 - $160,000 CAD.
