Scientific Officer (Instrument/Core Facilities - Workshop) in Physics

The Scientific Officer will provide technical support to the Department of Physics workshop, including fabricating and manufacturing parts for department members, faculty, and external users using CAD/CAM, CNC machining, laser cutting, and 3D printing technologies. Responsibilities include converting technical drawings into physical parts, operating modern manufacturing equipment, assisting with workflow improvements, and supporting departmental administrative duties. Candidates should have a BSc in Physics, BEng in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering, or a Diploma in Precision Engineering, with hands-on experience in CAD/CAM, CNC operations, and material processing.
