Professor and Director of SMARTbiomed

Aarhus University seeks a visionary Full Professor to lead and direct SMARTbiomed, a DKK 250 million Pioneer Centre funded for 13 years by major Danish foundations. The Centre aims to advance methodological research and software development for analyzing massive human biomedical data, with applications in cardiometabolic diseases, brain disorders, and infertility. The role involves shaping the Centre’s scientific vision, fostering interdisciplinary collaboration across universities, and securing external funding.
