Postdoctoral Research Fellow (Reconfigurable Intelligent Surfaces)

Join our Wireless Systems research group at Tampere University as a postdoctoral researcher for the FORMULA3 project, which aims to develop AI-native resource management methods for dynamic wireless environments. The role involves theoretical modeling, algorithm design, and experimental validation for 6G systems. Candidates should have a Ph.D. in electrical engineering or a related field, with a strong background in wireless communications and at least three publications in top journals. Good English skills and the ability to work in a multidisciplinary team are essential. The position is fixed-term for 24 months with a possibility of extension, starting as early as October 1, 2026.
