Assistant Professor in Basic Medical Research

The University of Gothenburg is recruiting an Assistant Professor in basic medical research as part of its Gothenburg Global Scholars initiative. This role focuses on conducting independent research into the molecular, cellular, and physiological mechanisms underlying health and disease, with a translational component. The successful candidate will also engage in teaching at various academic levels and is expected to develop their teaching expertise. Proficiency in Swedish at a B2 level is required for promotion, and the university offers language courses to support this.
