The Elya lab at Harvard University is looking for a postdoctoral fellow to investigate the mechanistic bases of behavior modification in fruit flies (Drosophila melanogaster) induced by the fungal pathogen Entomophthora muscae. The successful candidate will work on projects related to identifying molecular and genetic effectors of fungal-induced behavior, developing techniques for gene expression manipulation, and exploring the role of circadian clocks in these processes. A Ph.D. in a relevant biological subfield is required, and candidates should submit a CV and contact information for three references.
