Research Associate in Machine Learning for Materials Simulation

The postdoctoral researcher will work in the Theory of Condensed Matter group at the Cavendish Laboratory, developing machine learning models for amorphous materials. The role involves generating reference data, model training, and large-scale molecular dynamics simulations. Candidates should hold or be close to obtaining a PhD in physics, chemistry, materials science, or a related discipline, with a strong background in machine learning interatomic potentials and scientific programming skills in Python. Experience with simulating amorphous materials and high-performance computing is required.
