Doctoral Researchers - Spectral Remote Sensing for Critical Raw Material Exploration

The GFZ Helmholtz Centre for Geosciences invites applications for four Doctoral Researchers in the Geospex project, focusing on spectral remote sensing for critical raw material exploration. This project integrates remote sensing, geochemistry, and artificial intelligence to advance exploration techniques. Candidates will engage in international fieldwork and collaborate on data processing and analysis. Essential qualifications include an MSc in relevant fields and strong analytical skills. Proficiency in English is required, and experience in related areas is desirable. The positions are part-time for 36 months, starting as soon as possible, with a deadline for applications on 13th September 2026.
