Open Postdoctoral Position, Faculty Mentor Taia Wang

The laboratory of Dr. Taia Wang at Stanford University is recruiting a postdoctoral fellow to study human antibody biology. We are an experimental, mechanism-driven discovery lab focused on identifying the organizing principles that govern antibody function in vivo. Our approaches combine in vivo and in vitro immunology and cell biology with biomechanical assays to dissect how antibodies engage Fc receptors and drive protective versus pathogenic effector function. The successful candidate will help shape their own project direction, with close guidance from Dr. Wang on experimental design, publication, and career development. Core responsibilities include leading research projects, applying experimental approaches, contributing to manuscripts and grant applications, and mentoring junior trainees.
