Part-Time Lecturer in Chemistry

The Department of Sciences and Mathematics at the University of Washington Tacoma invites applications for Part-Time Lecturer positions in Chemistry for the 2025-26 academic year. These temporary, quarterly appointments (3-month terms) will support instruction in General Chemistry and Organic Chemistry. The successful candidate will teach inclusive, effective pedagogical techniques to diverse student populations. Applicants must hold an earned PhD or MS (or foreign equivalent) in Chemistry or a related field, with priority given to prior higher education teaching experience. The base salary ranges from $5,597 per quarter for a 5-credit course to $6,717 per quarter for a 6-credit laboratory course, commensurate with qualifications.
