Post Doctoral Research Associate - BioPhysics

The Debold Muscle Biophysics Lab is looking for a full-time Postdoctoral Research Associate in the Kinesiology Department to support a five-year NIH grant. The research focuses on understanding the molecular mechanisms of muscle contraction and the behavior of myosin proteins. Candidates should have a PhD in Kinesiology or a related STEM field, with experience in biophysics research. Responsibilities include protein purification, microscopy, data analysis, and manuscript writing. The position requires independence, organizational skills, and the ability to manage large data sets.
