The Department of Labor Studies at UCLA invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track lecturer position for the 2026-2027 academic year. The ideal candidate will have expertise in contemporary U.S. labor unions, race, and precarious workers, as well as labor sociology and the sociology of work. Responsibilities include lecturing, office hours, and grading. A Ph.D. is preferred, but advanced Ph.D. candidates or those with an M.A. may be considered. Candidates should demonstrate a commitment to teaching excellence and have experience with diverse student populations. Applications will be accepted until September 14, 2026.
