The Department of Geosciences and Natural Resource Management at the University of Copenhagen is seeking two Postdoctoral Researchers in Remote Sensing and Deep Learning of woody ecosystem properties. The positions are part of the Center for Remote Sensing and Deep Learning of Global Tree Resources (TreeSense) and involve advanced research techniques to assess and monitor woody vegetation ecosystem properties. The first position focuses on forest carbon dynamics using satellite-derived data, while the second position aims to develop methods for mapping tree species composition across European forests. Both roles require a PhD in Geography, Geoinformatics, Environmental Sciences, or related fields, and proficiency in English is mandatory.
