Postdoctoral Scholar - Chen Group

The Department of Materials Science and Engineering at Penn State is looking for a postdoctoral scholar to work on phase-field models and the physics of mesoscale structures. The role includes developing computer codes, studying various responses of structures, assisting in proposal writing, supervising students, and preparing manuscripts. A Ph.D. in Materials Science, Physics, or related fields is required, along with experience in computational materials research. This position is funded for one year with the possibility of renewal based on performance and funding availability.
