Two positions as Assistant Professor at the Faculty of Arts and Humanities

The Faculty of Arts and Humanities at Umeå University is offering two tenure-track Assistant Professor positions aimed at early-career researchers. The successful candidates will have the opportunity to develop a long-term research program and qualify for promotion to Associate Professor. The positions are open to all subject areas within the faculty, with a focus on contributing to the research environment and applying for external funding. Candidates must have a doctorate in a relevant field and demonstrate a very good command of English. Knowledge of Swedish is expected within six years of employment.
