The successful candidate will work on the PredictingSPOTS project, investigating the genomic and developmental basis of colour pattern diversification in East African cichlid fishes. The role involves mapping the transcriptomic and regulatory basis of egg-spot development, utilizing spatial transcriptomics and single-nuclei RNA-seq/ATAC-seq. Strong bioinformatics skills and experience with high-throughput sequencing data are essential. Opportunities for collaboration and training new team members are available.
