Research Associate - Creative Future Visioning Department

The Leverhulme Centre for Anthropocene Biodiversity at the University of York is looking for a Research Associate to work on innovative projects that combine AI and XR tools with historical and archaeological data to address biodiversity and landscape management challenges. The successful candidate will engage in world-leading research, collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, and develop interactive simulations to visualize evolving landscapes. Applicants should have a PhD or equivalent experience, skills in game engine technology, and a demonstrated interest in biodiversity change.
