Post-Doctoral Research Associate

The successful candidate will join a vibrant group of researchers at the Crop Science Centre, University of Cambridge. The project focuses on establishing virus-induced gene editing (VIGE) in Bambara groundnut to enhance genetic improvement for Sub-Saharan Africa. A strong background in plant virology, genetics, and molecular biology is required, with prior experience in virus-induced gene editing essential. The position is fixed-term for 18 months, and applicants who have submitted their PhD but not yet received it will be appointed at Research Assistant level until the PhD is awarded.
