Research Associate (m/f/d) in Evolutionary Genomics

The Georg-August-University Göttingen is offering a part-time position (50%) as a research associate in the GRK 2984 Evolutionary Genomics starting from November 1, 2026. The role includes supporting the GRK speaker with bioinformatics analyses and teaching responsibilities, as well as conducting independent research on the evolution of sex chromosomes in willow hybrids (Salix). Applicants should have a Master's degree in Bioinformatics or Biology with a focus on bioinformatics, experience in genomic data analysis, and relevant publications. Proficiency in scientific English (min. C1) and German (min. B1) is required.
