The Medical Research Council Mitochondrial Biology Unit at the University of Cambridge is looking for a post-doctoral Research Associate to contribute to the ProMiT project, which aims to develop new technologies for mitochondrial genetic transformation. The successful candidate will work on establishing mammalian cell models, developing assays for mitochondrial function, and conducting mechanistic studies of RNA import in Protists. Candidates should have a PhD in a relevant biological discipline and experience in mitochondrial or molecular biology. This is a fixed-term position for 36 months with potential for extension.
