Section Chief of Hepatology

The Division of Gastroenterology at the University of Washington is recruiting a Section Chief of Hepatology. The role involves leading a team of general and transplant hepatologists, developing strategies to enhance hepatology access and programs, and mentoring faculty and trainees. Teaching responsibilities include overseeing medical students, residents, and fellows. The successful candidate will be appointed as a full-time faculty member at the rank of Associate or Full Professor on the Clinical Practice Track, with a start date of January 1, 2027 or later. Candidates must have an MD, board certification in Gastroenterology and Transplant Hepatology, and be eligible for medical licensure in Washington.
