Postdoctoral Researcher in Monolayer Nanoporous Graphene Membranes for Liquid Separations

An 8-month fixed-term postdoctoral position is available to work on the manufacturing of monolayer nanoporous graphene membranes for liquid separations within the EPSRC-funded Programme Grant ‘SynHiSel’. The role is based in the Department of Chemical Engineering at the University of Bath, UK, and involves collaboration with membrane researchers at multiple UK universities. The successful candidate will have a PhD in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Material Science or a closely related field, with a track record in membrane fabrication, characterisation, and testing. Practical experience in graphene or other 2D material membrane fabrication and liquid separation testing is highly desirable, along with expertise in advanced characterisation techniques such as Raman spectroscopy, AFM, SEM, TEM, and XPS.
