Postdoctoral Position in the Department of Genetics, Microbiology and Statistics

The Bacterial infection and antimicrobial therapy group at Universitat de Barcelona is looking for a postdoctoral researcher to work on developing new technologies to treat chronic bacterial infections. Candidates should have a PhD in biology, biotechnology, or similar fields, with essential training and experience in microbiology. Expertise in advanced microscopy, anaerobic bacterial culture systems, and bacterial molecular genetics is required. Candidates with bioinformatics experience, particularly in RNA-seq analyses, will be highly regarded. Excellent communication and teamwork skills are essential.
