Professor in Sociology of Solidarity

Ghent University is looking for a Professor in Sociology of Solidarity to develop a research program on voluntary associations and collective action. The candidate will teach various sociology courses and contribute to the university's operations. A strong academic CV and international visibility in the field are required. Candidates must be willing to learn Dutch within five years and have a command of the language of instruction at CEFR level C1. The position is tenure track with a temporary appointment for five years, transitioning to a permanent role upon positive evaluation.
