Open-Rank Tenure-System Faculty Position in Bioengineering

The Department of Bioengineering at The University of Texas at Dallas invites applications for an open-rank tenure-system faculty position in Bioengineering and/or Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on computational biomechanics. Candidates from related disciplines such as Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Computer Science, Materials Science, Physics, or Mathematics are also encouraged to apply. A PhD or equivalent is required, and applicants should demonstrate excellence in research, teaching, and service. The position includes undergraduate and graduate teaching responsibilities, an active research program, and service to the university and profession. The appointment begins in January 2027.
