The position focuses on investigating and experimenting with methodologies integrating Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Blockchain technologies to monitor and manage the meat supply chain. The role involves developing models and architectures for data acquisition, integration, and certification across the supply chain stages, from livestock farming to product distribution. Blockchain will be used for traceability, data integrity, transparency, and verifiability, including smart contracts and distributed ledgers. AI and Machine Learning techniques will be applied for supply chain data analysis, emphasizing anomaly detection, quality and safety indicator assessment, risk prediction, and decision support.
