Scientific Employee (m/f/d)

The II. Physical Institute at the University of Göttingen is looking for a scientific employee (m/f/d) to join their experimental particle physics group. The position involves developing and optimizing operational and monitoring tools using modern machine learning techniques for the local Grid-Cluster GoeGrid and associated Tier-2 centers. Candidates should have a completed degree in Physics or a relevant field and a PhD in Physics or Computer Science. Proficiency in English and programming skills are required, while knowledge of German and experience in experimental particle physics are preferred. The position is initially for two years with the possibility of extension.
