This fixed-term postdoctoral position, funded by a BBSRC grant, aims to elucidate antiviral immunity mechanisms in bats. The research will focus on characterizing variants of NLRP3, MyD88, and STING genes found in specific bat lineages. Candidates should have a PhD in cell biology, biochemistry, or evolutionary biology, with essential skills in cell culture and cloning.
